I am deciding on 3 or 4 gpus atm
  1. Radeon rx 5700 xt
  2. Gtx 1070 ti
  3. Radeon rx vega 64
  4. Gtx 1660 ti
I mainly play on 1080p i will get a 240hz monitor rn i have a 144hz
My pc specs are
I7-6700k
Msi z170a gaming m5 x motherboard
Msi 6gb gtx 1060 gaming z
EVGA 750w G2 80+ gold psu
Case: fractal design r5
24gb sticks of ram

my main concern is the 5700 xt it being a 4.0 express lane and it needs 2-8 pin connectors

Solution
The 5700XT is backward compatible with PCIe3.0 and even 2.0 nothing to worry about there.

Pretty sure the G2 750W has two 8 pin PCIe cables...

Throw out the Vega64. Those weren't even worthwhile before the 5700/5700XT launched.

I just heard so many things about the 5700 xt it consuming power like a hog, but would you say this card is the better pick? I was getting so many mixed reviews about this card, so this will work on my rig with all my specs a mentioned? The one i was looking at perticular is https://www.amazon.com/MSI-256-bit-...t=&hvlocphy=1027288&hvtargid=pla-837029696285

The one you linked is a non xt. https://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-Gra...ING-OC-8GD/dp/B07W95D5V3?tag=gamersnexus01-20
This won best RX 5700 Xt on gamersnexus’ video. It’s also quite cheap so I’d recommend it. I believe it’s $379 on newegg on sale right now but that ends soon. This blows the other cards you listed out of the water

You mean tick as in unclick so id have to do the updates manually?
My bad I was vague. The option, I dont remember the exact wording, is something along the lines of “Prevent windows from automatically installing drivers” and has a box next to it
Just make sure to check the box, and this will prevent windows from auto installing drivers as you should be clean installing the correct ones yourself with adrenalin

There won't be any benefit to a 240 hz monitor over 144, if you are upgrading the video card for that you can save your money.

Well the monitor’s i bought were not thought out, i just bought them at the time without looking into them and theres only a hdmi that puts out 60hz (60 fps) or the dvi is (144hz), im big on frames thats one thing i consider important.
