I had my 3700X overclocked to 4.0 GHz, but doing so caused games to freeze/crash. Bringing it back down to 3.6 GHz fixed this. I’ve heard that the ryzen 3000 CPU’s don’t have much headroom for overclocking. But since it has a boost clock of 4.4 GHz, I want to make sure this is normal. I have the MSI MPG X570 Gaming Pro Carbon WiFi motherboard and 16 GB of Trident Z Neo RAM, along with a 750 watt power supply. I was able to overclock my RAM to 3600 easily
