[SOLVED] I can’t screw the CPU backplate back

I switched cpu but i unscrewed those 3 screws even though i didn’t need to, but i can’t screw them back in for some reason it just doesn’t get tighter when i try to screw it

My guess is that you will have to remove the motherboard to see what is happening on the back side. There my have been just nuts on those screws.

The front plate is the CPU retention plate, the back plate is behind the motherboard to spread the CPU retention pressure across the socket's back and that is what the screws screw into. When you removed the front plate, the back plate probably fell. You'll have to remove the motherboard to put it back in place.
