Hello guys! I'm from Argentina, new in the site and some days ago I acquired a Intel Xeon x5650 and a motherboard Msi X58M. I wish know like make it Overclock to have more performance. A guide of voltages and parameters that I must configure in the bios Do can you help me?. I would appreciate it very much. My name is Diego better that Go Diego Go XD
Going from 2.66Ghz stock frequency to 4.0Ghz on a Xeon, that is not designed for overclocking mmmhh so yes it's and wich Water Cooling, just that I don't know like (Make it OC)
Regards and Blessing.

That's a fairly popular chip for overclocking but it's a very complex subject for several reasons. The memory controller is on the CPU, and it supports 3 channel memory.
To overclock that CPU you will need to raise the BCLK. This will affect the RAM timings, QPI link and they will all need to be overclocked and overvolted also.
Here is a thread devoted to that platform. It's over 1000 pages long i'm afraid but they do know the answers to your question.

A much simpler approach is to use one of the unlocked CPUs that are available for that platform.
