I Can Not Get Into My BIOS!

I have a asus maximus vii hero and I already have windows 8.1. I was able to get into my bios before I installed windows. Now I can't. I spam delete as soon as i turn my computer on. Please help. How?

Start the computer and then choose to restart when in Windows. Spam "del" when you see your motherboard logo. Windows 8 starts up faster with a regular start up, only when you choose restart it will restart the computer fully.

I'm having the same problem too, but with Windows 7. Pressing or holding del, as the manual says, does nothing or will take me to the Windows boot options screen from which I can only select repair tools or load win7.

I looked around but I can't find any solid answers. Some say to hold down multiple keys to force an error, some say to press most keys such as f2, f8, del, ins, etc. Nothing works.

I put a user password in the bios, so maybe thats interfering. I have a cheap, but perfectly functional, usb keyboard directly connected to the mobo.

If you can't enter the BIOS the normal way, you can always disconnect the hard drive and it should boot into the BIOS automatically.

Thanks for the answer, although it kinda sucks that it came to that point. At least I have something new to try.
