First of all, forgive my terrible grammar. The truth is that english is my second language and I am aware that I have to improve a lot.
Anyway...
Some time ago a friend introduced me to this super awesome video game, but now that I want to get this game I can not remember the name, which is pretty sad. So if anyone can help me to identify this game I am going to be really happy and grateful to all of you.
So, how is this game like?
-The story takes place on what seems to be a "distant future". We have elements such as futuristic space ships, futuristic weapons, modern buildings, there are these amazing shoes-devices that allow you to walk freely on the walls of the buildings like if you were walking on a normal surface (at least in the beginning of the game you use this devices), etc.
-I am pretty sure this game has lot of gore on it.
-If I remember correctly the main character is kinda a mercenary-militar man. The guy is an asshole and he knows how to kick ass. I believe that he looked similar to Logan- from the x-men movie. It is the kind of man that is always rude with everyone and has a big ego. He was quite funny, rude but hilarious.
-The best friend of the main character is an asian man, who after some injuries he takes from an assault he is turned into a cyborg. And looks pretty badass. This guys is going to be with you on the following chapters.
Plot
I do not know what the whole story is about because I never played all the game myself, I simply got briefly introduced to it, but at least what we get on the beginning:
As part of an "special mission" you are sent with your men to kill certain person ("because he is supposed to be evil or something between those lines). Once you make your way to this target and you kill this person, you realize that all this time you have been killing innocent people and you have been manipulated like a puppet to do the nasty job of a **** who has an evil plan. When you realize about this, an hologram of this mother ****** appears telling you "oh so you just noticed? It is fine, it is already too late for you, I do not need you anymore, blabla see you in hell" And you and your men are ambushed by what seems to be "the police". Basically everyone dies, but your asian friend and you manage to escape. Your asian friend is severely wounded and in order to survive he is turned into a cyborg.
Obviously you get mad about this and you want to get revenge on this bastard. You do not care about how dangerous or outrageous your plans are, your goal is one. Kill the bastard even if that means to die.
During the game you face lot of nasty stuff. Lot of gore is involved on it. You face some guys that do not look like humans the look more like the urukai from the lord of the rings. I also do remember this guys with their faces painted like if they were red skull or something alike.
On certain level you face for the first time a giant robot that looks like a t-rex or perhaps a giant monster. It is black, with red eyes and it is quite dangerous, because besides being giant and being armored, it has fire-weapons and lasers. The good thing is that they are manipulated by remote control. So if you kill the one who posses said remote control, you can gain control over this giant baby. And using it is magnificent because you can demolish buildings, stomp your enemies and use its fire power to defeat entire armies of your enemies. (Your character even gets sentimental when he has to say goodbye to this weapon xD)
What else? You have this gadget that works alike Samus Aran's grapple beam and with it you can jump and do maneuvers that allow you to perform tactical movements against your enemies.
Ok I wish I could give you more specific details but it has been over a year since I played this game and like I said I only played it for a brief time. My friend was the one who played most part of the time while skipping levels to show me the cool stuff and such.
hehe Yea I know that maybe this info is not helping much, it is a shame but I have a bad memory, but it is better than not trying, so I hope anyone can identify the game. =)

It is not from the metal gear solid series. When my friend introduced me this game it was supposedly "kinda new". The graphics of the game looked damn good. Comparable to those of death space 2 or probably even better. The game was probably released on 2010 or 2011. At most I would go back to 2007 and not a single year earlier and I got the feeling that it is not that old. 
I even want to give you a big hug lol
