I can not see my ethernet card

Why can´t I connect my laptop via ethernet card. I don´t see the card in my list of hardware. If I connect the cable I see the yellow ligth blinking and green ligth fixed. Thanks

Maybe it's not turned on, could be a switch on the side of case or a certain key combination, Check your manual.
