This afternoon, I found that I was getting no sound from my computer. I did find that when I plug my headphones in that I can get sound. If the headphone jack is pushed all the way in, I only get sound from the left side, but if I pull the jack out slightly, I get sound from both sides. However, no matter what I do, I cannot get the regular speakers to work.
I have make sure that my speakers are set as the default device. I've read that there's a sensor that can be reset by using a toothpick. I had this problem a few days ago, and that worked, but it is not working now. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
