[SOLVED] i can`t select 144hz on my AOC 24G2U which is a 144hz display

corsair vengeance rgb 16 gb 3200mhz

i have all my drivers updated and im using a hdmi cable which is capeable of 144hz

your cable might be capable of 144hz, but the monitor's hdmi port may be only supporting up to 120hz, try using displayport, i had similar issues on my samsung monitor

i had 144hz before on my hdmi port, but all of a sudden it only shows 120hz now

in the manual it says it should support 144hz at 1920x1080

Then the display drivers are the most likely suspect at this point. The latest version isn't always the best version. Unless you are experiencing a problem specifically addressed by an updated driver it is never advised to update just for the sake of updating.

i haven't updated any drivers so i find it weird that all of a sudden i cant use 144hz anymore

Which flies in the face of your initial statements: "....i have all my drivers updated and im using a hdmi cable which is capeable of 144hz ...."

sorry, i mean it like that didn't update any driver when all of a sudden i weren't able to use 144 hz anymore.
