I cannot boot up my system

soo my problem is that i want to instal win xp on my old pc......well its 2 pc combined in 1. as i was saying the issue is that it cant bot from the CD ...(it has 2 systems on it all redy ,1 is a german xp that is broaken ..and te other is the old system from the second pc(and yes i know it cant boot the sys on the HDD cuz its a diferent chipset and mobo))sooo ive gotten 2 ATA Optical Disc Drives ....they didnt work -_- ...and i borowed a external ODD ... and i tryed to boot from it and it did work ... well not completely soo it starts the instaling and in the next milisecond it reebots...Soo yea ill put a video link for you to see http://

Format the entire drive and then install xp fresh. With broken xp installs on the drive allready, they are most likely causing your issues. Well that, and your current drivers for everything is probably wrong as well. Fresh format is your only option IMO.

Why don't you just make the CD bootable so it can boot from there and install a fresh version of XP on the HDD?
