I cannot change my screen saver

i have tried everything, and the screensavers i chose will not display on my screen. what do i do

some more information would be nice
does it work if you use the test button?
did you adjust the time that it needs to show up?

yes, when i try preview it shows up, but oddly only if i have it on disable (-). yes, i did adjust the time. there has to be something else i am not doing, but i have read everything, and did what it said.
