I cannot connect to my router

I had a new router installed 2 or 3 months ago and 1 of my laptops has never been able to connect to it - wirelessly or with cable. My other laptop, ipad and phone connect with no problems

If wired won't work, then it is either a cable problem or the laptop. Start with a brand new cat5e cable. Look at the LEDs around the network port on the router. Do they look like all the other ports? If so then you probably have network link. Verify that your laptop is set to DHCP and that the DNS is set to automatic.
