What are the basic specifications for your system? Include all installed hardware devices and the make/model of your motherboard.

If you don't have a dial up modem, then that "PCI Simple Communications Controller" is actually Intel's ME engine.
Insert your mobo disc and install it or you can grab it from Intel's site
click here

Download the one associated with your chipset.
e.g. You have a P67 chipset, then it will be the 6 series
Don't worry about not having a Intel branded motherboard, those drivers aren't specifically tied to them.
