I cannot log into my computer help?!

It is saying my password is wrong when it is not, I googled how to fix it and i followed the instructions that I had to restart in safe mode but I can't log on because my password is 'wrong'! And I seen that I must log on with administrative rights, I'm the only profile on this laptop I don't understand
