I cannot see floppy drive in disk management cosole?

Hello,

When I tried to open my froppy drive after i inserted the disk I have received following message:
please insert the disk into drive A;

Is there any thoughts arround this issue?

Is drive A in My Computer, even if you can't see the floppy contents?

If so, either the floppy is damaged, or the floppy drive is no longer working. Try another, fresh floppy.

My experience is that the drives don't last long. I've gone through many.
