I cannot update my AMD drivers!

I downloaded the auto detect to update the software for my 7970 ghz edition and it detects the 13.9 drivers. When I click "Download" I get an error message that says "Could not connect to server. Could not parse error." to which the only response is OK. I googled it and found nothing on the topic, can anyone help?

have you tried download the driver from amd itself?? could be a server or software bug with there auto update software.

I've tried everything and in the device manager it come up with ATI Radeon Graphics 3000 instead of HD 7870

moose your running off onboard video. look to see if your plugged into the mb or the gpu. if your plugged into the mb you have to go into the bios and set the primany display to peg/pci first and see that the gpu turns on. make sure on the gpu both power plugs are filled.
