i can't access my network

Click the start button and type Network and Sharing Center in the search. It should be the top option, click it.

In the window that opens look to the left-hand side and you should see Manage Wireless Networks.

There should now be a list of wireless networks that you have connected to previously. Right-click your network name and press Remove Network. After this just connect to the network as you normally would and enter the new password when it asks.


I believe what you have done is changed the encryption type as well as the actual password. Windows remembers the old encryption type and doesn't prompt you to change it, just fails.
