Question I can't adjust DRAM frequency

Hello,

I have DDR3 RAM which can run at 1866 (HyperX Predator 8GB DDR3 1866 MHz CL9 Dual Channel Kit) and I recently bought another pair of DDR3 RAM at the same frequency (HyperX Fury Black 8GB DDR3 1866 MHz CL10 Dual Channel Kit). When adjusting the Bios Settings to 1866 it says it failed to load OC settings...and loads the default 1333. I must be doing something wrong perhaps ?
Running this on : MSI Z87-G45 GAMING which clearly supports dual channel and frequencies: 3000 O.C./2800 O.C./2666 O.C./2600 O.C./2400 O.C./2200 O.C./2133 O.C./2000 O.C./1866 O.C./1600/1333/1066 MHz

Thanks

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Are both kits identical? From the way you've listed them, I don't think they are, their latencies are different and with that I'm sure that they are constructed differently.

In either case, see if the rams work as is(stand alone). Make sure you're on the latest BIOS update for your motherboard and then make sure you've populated the right slots for the motherboard per your manual's instructions.

After some more research I think I am begging bottle necked by my CPU:
Memory
TypeDDR3
Max Memory32 GB
Frequency1333, 1600 MHz
Support TypeDual Channel
Max Memory Bandwidth25.6 GB/s
Even so I've clock the DRAM to 1600 still doesn't work..
