Hi, I recently attempted building my first PC and after I was annoyed to see it won't give me any video output, therefore access to the BIOs. I then installed a beeper and the error corresponded to a memory error. My RAM is the 16GB HyperX FURY DDR4 2133MHz (2 x 8GB) and my mobo is the Asus ROG Strix B450-E which I thought would be compatible. The RAM was perfectly functional in my old PC, therefore I am unsure whether there is a fix to this, or if I should return my motherboard or buy new RAM?

Solution
I would definitely reseat the ram and make sure it is inserted properly. a ram stick that Is not pushed all the way in will cause error. Also ,If it is dual channel, make sure each ram stick is in the proper Chanel/slot and that they are identical. Mismatched ram will not be tolerated in a dual channel system. Additionally, I looked on the qvl list for your motherboard and, while this isn't always sure to cause this problem but could, your memory isn't listed. https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/...7.1687671490.1590792378-1878623693.1559641574
To test, remove one stick of ram and see if it will boot with one of them.try this with each one...

To test, remove one stick of ram and see if it will boot with one of them.try this with each one. If it boots ok, each time run the motherboards onboard diagnostics. If nothing shows as a problem, the ram may be ok.
Another thing to try, switch the ram to the other dual channel slots and see if the same problem occurs, if it doesn't then the first slot s are bad on the mother board. If it does, try another set of memory and see if it occurs again. You said you bought a code reader that beeps, what is the beep code?
