I can't change my resolution higher than 1024x768 after changing GPU

So I just changed my GPU from Gt 1030 to GTX 1060.
My monitor is Acer G206HQL.
I used to be able to run 1600x900, but after changing the GPU to 1060, I'm not able to do so and everytime I tried to apply the resolution higher than 1024x768. There is a text in my monitor saying : Input not supported.

Here's the things I've tried :
1. Uninstalling the nvidia driver using Driver Uninstaller and then installing the newest driver which is version 398.
2. Going to Device manager and updating the display adapter and also monitor.

I'm so confused and I don't know what I should do, i've tried looking for solution in youtube and google, but none of them worked.

If anyone has any solution to this problem, please let me know.
Thankyou very much

Yes it is detected, I've checked through dxdiag and it shows Geforce GTX 1060 3GB.
And I have also checked that the hdmi is connected to my vga and not my integrated port
