I just bought a new computer and installed windows 10 on it. As i turned it on i noticed that the resolution was really bad so i wanted to change it but the option to change it didn't work.. So i thougth i had to install the graphic drivers but when i did that and restarted the computer nothing would show up on the screen... The screen is not broken and the dvi cable is brand new.. I have a GTX 1050ti and i installed the official drivers for it.. Please help me with this!!

Connect the video input lead from the Pci-e graphics card to the on board video output ports of the motherboard if it has the facility.
You should then get a screen output of the system bios.
Go into your bios, if the motherboard also has support for on board video of the motherboard you have.

Find the section that deals with graphics, and set the default interface or mode to Pci-e.
Save the new changes before you exit the bios setup of the motherboard.

Then swap the video cable back over to the Pci-e based graphics card and one of it`s video display output ports on the card.

Restart, reset the system once more and you will have video signal from the Pci-e graphics card.

What do you mean by ''reset the sistem''? And could you explain the process of doing it?
