Question i cant clear the search's in chrome

why the search results keep coming back after i clear them?
i want to view the old searches which i could before but now when i clear the searches in search bar, those search's keep coming back
is it a chrome bug??

how did you clear them?
try with all extension turn off?

I had to deal with this recently and I did everything I could, also make sure the search history your seeing are not bookmarks that haven't been deleted yet. This link should give you the directions on how to properly clear your browsing history:
