I can't click on anything

I've been having this problem that started a few days ago, whenever I turn on my computor, it works fine for a few minutes and then the task bar and deak top icon become unresponsive. Ctrl alt delete does nothing. Any program I have open stops working and if I'm in a browser it acts as though I had lost internet. The mouse still moves and I can navigate browsers but nothing else works. I have a Toshiba laptop with windows 8 on it. Thank you

if it doesn't happen, its likely blame is a start up program, add them slowly to find cause, and fix it.

It sure sounds like a start up program of sorts.

otherwise, check you have latest drivers, could be LAN
