So I'm working on this new computer I have, but I can't connect my old ide hard drive. My 500w power supply only has sata connectors. Most adaptors I find online seem to be made to work the other way around (ie. hooking up a sata hd to a power supply with only ide connections.) Any help?

You can get something like this and transfer your data to another hard drive in the computer http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA0U00YF4564. If you are planning on using the HDD in the computer then you would need this http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Pin-IDE-Molex-to-Male-15-Pin-Serial-ATA-SATA-Hard-Drive-Power-Adapter-Cable-/261261782367?pt=US_Drive_Cables_dapters&hash=item3cd46a6d5f. You can also look for an external enclosure like this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817182153
