I cant connect wirelessly to view other network devices but i can surf the net

I have a Windows XP desktop and two other Windows 7 computers in my network. the xp system was working just fine and suddenly stopped working. I can surf the net via my usb wireless device but i cannot communicate with other network devices.
Please, i need your urgent assistance.
