I have a really weird problem
My Build
Asus Rampage Gene IV
I7 3930K (OC 4.2 Ghz )
32 GB Geil Memory
500 GB SSD Crucial
EVGA 680 GTX 4GB
Silverstone case SG10
Corsair AX 860 PSU
Corsair H80 cooler
1 92mm fans xilence
2 80mm xilence fans
1 140 silverstone fan
2 corsair from H80 fans push/pull

My problem is that i can't control the speed of the xilence fans neither the H80 ... The ~Xilence fans are really quiet (in comparison with the corsair but they don't appear to have qcontrol? in the bios. I reset cmos but I am running out of ideas. The Corsair is a really loud and i used the manual button inside the case to put it in scale one but still it is a bit loud. Any suggestions?
Have anybody has a quite setup that runs also cool 28C in normal operation 45C during prime95? Ambient room is temperature at 21 c.

Solution
By default the CPU Fan header will control 4-pin fans only. To get 3-pin control you have to set the header to "advanced" which will then control in DC mode. The Chassis fan headers control in DC mode only even though they are 4-pin headers - still that works with 4-pin fans as well, though not as effectively as PWM control.

Thank you Raja. The xilence fans are 4pin PWM so can't be controled. The Silverstone is not so this is why it appears in q-control. The corsair liquid cooling is a bit peculiar because it doesn't exactly works as expected. IT has this internal physical controller that complicates things and i don't seem to be able to see the RPM of it since it always appears as 2000+ . I booted the computer today and it said cpu fan error ! i entered the bios just exited without saving and everything seemed to work properly.

That is weird then. I assume that DC mode is dual channel memory. I can't really control the pwm fans it seems they fluctuate all together. They are very quiet. I will do some tests tonight with prime95 to heat it up and see how it behaves.
