I am a total newbie to this and I am needing some help with my graphics card, here are my motherboard specs

dell inc. 0x231R A00

Solution
Looks like it's a mid-tower, so it can handle a full height graphics card.
Looks like it only has a 350 watt power supply.
I cannot find a definitive answer as to whether or not you can replace that with a standard ATX power supply.
There is a 450 watt Dell Power Supply for your computer.

Does your computer currently have a discrete graphics card installed in the motherboard expansion slot?

Honestly, it doesn't look like there's much of an upgrade path. You're already pushing the limits with PSU with this GPU and if CPU/motherboard are as old as this GPU, it's going to bottleneck anything much better than a 760.

If this PC is a nearly decade-old PC with no real incremental upgrades over that decade, it's really too late to start; meaningful upgrades would basically involve upgrading everything.
