Hello. As the subject of the thread states, I have not been able to resolve this issue after several attempts at troubleshooting.

I have tried different SATA cables, different SATA ports, using a different HD in same port (that drive was recognized), unplugging the system & resetting the CMOS via the jumper, reinserting the CMOS battery, resetting the BIOS to default settings, flashing the BIOS, .... over and over again.

My stats are:

Sandisk Ultr 120GB SSD
Rosewill 630W PD
Gigabyte GA-970A-D3 MB
GSKILL 8GB 1866 RAM
AMD P2 960t cpu
WINDOWS 7 ultimate 64bit

PS. There have been two instances in the past where my computer would not boot do to not recognizing my boot disk (SSD). One time all I did was unplug and reseat the cables, and the other time I reset the CMOS where I got got successful boots.

Thank to anyone who can help!

I should have clarified that. But yes, in the BIOS. The drive being dead is my biggest fear, especially since it is only about six weeks old. I'm new to SSD's, so I'm really frustrated about them right now.
