I tried the latest version of the software from the samsung website. Are there other programs that do the diagnostic scan test?

Ah I know Crystaldisk checks it but does it also check if all the sectors work as they should?

Not to mention, if I want to make changes to the 980 Pro doesn't the magician software only do that. I can't even do the other functions besides the diagnostic scan from the magician software.

Unlike mechanical HDDs. SSDs don't have set sectors to point at one place, they are virtual. SSDs also have self check routine at every start and anything wrong is written into it's firmware and seen and displayed by Crystal disk SMART table. Windows can also check file system as well each memory cell.

So the Magician software is useless with its diagnostic scan? How do I check on Windows?
