[SOLVED] I cant enter BIOS, stuck in press f2 or DEL to enter BIOS.

Hello everyone,

I'm a first time builder and I have just finished building my PC.

After putting everything together, I powered on my system and everything seems ok.
When the pc posted, I tried entering the bios to update it by either pressing DEL or F2 but it does not seem to respond.
The keyboard seems to have power due to the lights when I powered up the PC.

Now I am stuck and cannot proceed due to this problem.


You help and input would be highly appreciated.


Here are the specs of my build:

AMD Ryzen 5600x
ROG Crosshair Hero VIII (WI-FI)
MSI Gaming TRIO RTX 3070
Corsair Vengeance Pro 4000mhz (8gb x 2)
Corsair RM850
Samsung 970 Evo Plus SSD (500GB and 1TB) (m.2 slot 1 and 2)

Have you tried clearing the CMOS by removing the motherboards coin battery while the PC is unplugged?

Your board has USB Flashback feature. You can use that to update BIOS.

I updated my BIOS to the latest version using BIOS flashback.
