I have an NF7-S v2.0, 9700pro, 2500+(1.8) oc'd to 3200+(2.2), 500w ps, XP
Pro. There are a few games like MOH, and Call of Duty that are freazing up.
Call of Duty freezes up a few minutes after beginning. I have the cpu
voltage at 1.75. I started from 1.65, and as i went up, Call of Duty plays
for a bit longer with more voltage. I'm afraid of going higher than 1.75.
Temps get to about 36 mobo, 50 cpu after playing halo for a while.I've tried
enabling/disabling fastwrites. The computer never freezes at any other time.
Only games. I can't figure out why the games are freezing up.

I had game issues at one time.
MoBO drivers need to be updated. (nforce2)

I updated my mobo drivers just a couple of weeks ago. I was using Cat 4.5's,
but reverted back to 3.10 because of some issues. I don't have my GPU
overclocked, but the CPU is overclocked. Games seem to be stable at stock
CPU speeds. Does that mean it would be a voltage or ram issue? I am using
512 OCZ performance series, and my mobo's optimal settings for it are
6-3-3-2.0.

try 1.8 for cpu
1.6 for ram and set the timings to 11-3-2-2
let us know

Agreed, and I have mine set there too

Few Q's:
1) Is it prime-95 stable at stock?
2) Are games stable at stock?
3) Is it prime-95 stable with the CPU OC'd? (GPU not OC'd I presume)
4) If the answer to all three of the above are "yes", then it's probably a
weak PSU or regulators on the board, either not coping with dynamic loads or
just not coping at all :)

Raise CPU Vcore.
I use OCZ 6-3-3-2 ram Aslo In a Asus A7N8X.
It takes me 1.70Vcore to run a Mobile 2500+ at 2400mhz
I had a 2100+ at 2200Mhz also at 1.70Vcore.
Diff cpu's need diff voltages to be 100% stable across the board...in and
out of games.
With my Vcore to low ...pc would boot but games like SOF II/BFV/Mohaa etc
would freeze/drop to desktop or just crash.

I give up... I've done the things suggested here, and i can't get COD to
work correctly. The other games seem to work fine. COD is especially bad at
the beginning of Burnville. Just one or two minutes into it, when i get up
to the cows and the germans start firing the machine guns, it just
completely freezes every time. I think i'll just have to do without playing
the game. Although it's a bit irritating since i paid 50 dollars for a game
that won't work on my pc. I'm beginning to think this is a COD issue since
my other games are working fine.

Seems it may be a sound issue making things freeze up. It happens when
certain sounds begin to play
