i can't figure out how to play dvd in asus X540S

asus sonicmaster <2kg X540S Type C VLC Media Player downloaded. Do not know how to play DVD. Have DVD loaded in tray

i am new to this, do not know how to command my loaded dvd to play i don't see anything on my screen telling me where i can begin playing it
