I can't figure out which CPU Mount I need to use on my 4690k with a Asus Maximus VII Formula MB

This is kind of stupid but I'm in the middle of building my PC, and it's been a while since I've built one (honestly it's been about 10 year, and I was like 16, with only my intuition of knowing I could do it, as it's just putting the right screws, plugs, and devices all in the right places). So basically I've got my Motherboard, PSU and fans installed and before I put my, CPU, GPU, RAM, and SSD/HDD in (it's a 1TB HDD/120 SSD WD Black^2 and I just ordered a 1TB WD Black drive for back up storage, and I've countless smaller drives I can add in or use as externals), it's just a matter of hooking the corresponding cables up and sliding in the rest of the parts, which at this point should be simple.

Anyways, so the MB I have is obviously the ASUS z97 Maximus VII Formula Board and an i5 4690k CPU and my problem is I have 3 mounts that came with one of the parts, I had the instructions and CAN'T FIND that part in any of my manuals. I don't think I lost the booklet as I still have my Case and Motherboard Books and I do not believe the CPU came with much and certainly not the mount (not to mention I can look that stuff online if I did lose it), but I remember seeing the schematics for it telling me which to use but wasn't there yet so I passed it over. I would think that the mounts (idk if that is what they are called, but they look like a VESA TV mount but obviously way smaller for the size of a CPU) would've came with my case as the Motherboard should only use 1 type of socket for the CPU (LG 1150). One of the mounts I have is obviously not it as it's too high to do anything but the other 2 I have it seems as if I remember one being it but it looks as it may not fit against the CPU but at the same time the other has screws that are really weird, one side has the threads, the other side just has holes in them, leaving no place to actually use any type of screwdriver..now that I think about it, I guess it could possibly use the allen wrench types, but if I recall correctly (I don't have them right in front of me, if that helps, let me know and I can take a picture of both the board and mounts) the holes in that particular one are circular not a hex configuration, or anything I know of.

Like I said, this is a dumb question that I should know how to figure out without asking, I just want to make sure that it is properly secured before I put everything in the right place (especially my 2-fan and radiator to cool the CPU, the Corsair H100i. After that it's just a matter of installing the GPU, Hard Drives, RAM (basically the stuff that just slides in and a few plugs here and there), and then putting all the cases/PSU and other devices into the MB. I just have been getting more frustrated than I should over this thing because I mixed up my screws at first and it's been more trouble getting the parts that need to be screwed in (MB and Case fans specifically, were way more trouble than it should be), but like I said I know after this I can just plug everything in and away she goes...)

Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to offer and sorry for the long explanation, just want to be as clear as possible for my sake, and yours for ease of helping. Just in case you need the case model number it's the Corsair R100 ATX or MidATX case. Not the most advanced case (with 5 fan spots, 2 USB 3.0 front ports, Mic In/Audio Out and Power/Reset buttons and 2 DIMM spots for whatever, not planning on putting a CD/DVD/Bluray drive as it's becoming obsolete as you can download everything now, and I do have an external DVD DL disc drive); but it's enough to cool what I am running and fit said parts in. If you need any extra info, please let me know as I wish to get this done ASAP and I'm tired of using this crappy laptop (sold my iMac for the parts as I wanted to start PC gaming, and Macs aren't the best for that with minimal upgrade options and Mac OS X supporting only about 40% of games out there which granted is still good considering a few years back it was nothing, but still, it had 1GB GDDR5 770/775, don't remember, GPU soldered in, so that definitely limits upgrades)/ Not to mention they are a b**** to take apart. Now I have a EVGA GeForce GTX 970 😀 I am just sick of not having a real computer lol.

Would I be able to just tell by putting it on without screwing it in just by whether it holds the CPU in place? Because since I mixed a lot of the screws up (bad idea when getting started, but I didn't mix the screws, just the bags that came with their respective parts. Anyways, I'm thinking that maybe it would just work by trial and error like I did with the screws, it was frustrating (and ironically the least technical part of the whole process).
