I dont have a hdmi option in my audio playback devices. I connected my xbox to my Hp monitor and i can play fine but theres no sound so i tried to fix but there was that proble that I dont know how to fix

First off, lets check if the device has been disabled or disconnected. You can do this by going to your taskbar, right-clicking the speaker icon, selecting your playback devices option. Under this window, you should see a few different devices. If the HDMI still isn't showing up, right click in a blank area in the devices boundary and ensure both "show disconnected devices" and "show disabled devices" are checked off.

If you do find the device after this step, all you need to do is right click it and select "enable device." If you don't find anything new, post back here and we can try a few other things.

Also, is this a laptop or desktop? What brand laptop, or if desktop, what are the specs?

I would check the website of your manufacturer and see if they have any updates for your sound card drivers. This can often times help fix these sorts of issues. Another thing that comes to mind is rolling back your sound card drivers one version, or even doing a clean install of your drivers (removing then re-installing them from the installer you found on HP's website).

Oh, one thing you should do before un-installing your soundcard drivers is to update your graphics card drivers. Because the HDMI port is technically attached to your GPU, the drivers for it will be with the drivers for your GPU. Go ahead and update those before you try un-installing things.

if your audio device is connected properly and also if the device doesnt have an exclamation on it , in the device manager, then you should be having a console for the audio, a control panel sorts of, which will tell you what is detected and what isnt

It is connected properly and there is no exclamation point on NVIDIA High Definition Audio but it doesn't show in sound playback devices. The only device that shows is Realtek High Definition Audio. I dont see the sound device in control panel. Maybe there's something wrong with my speakers??? they work fine, I'm having problems when i use HDMI

Thank you,,, I have a Gateway with original Win 7 upgraded to Win 10.
My smart tv was playing fine, then when I went to play a movie off my laptop, I had no sound and NO HDMI showing up.
I read probably 2 dozen post that were useless, and then found your post.
This FIXED the problem, and now I can see all the devices listed/detected.
Thank you so much for your great answer... :)
