[SOLVED] i can't find my 8 pin connector

image of psu so I got a new graphics card (3060) I used to have a 750 to which does not need any cables but when I go to set up my new gou I can't find any connecters someone else built it so it is built in a wierd way do I need a new PSU do I need to buy a cable or do I already have to right ones pls help

PSU is modular so you just need the cable. From your picture it seems like it is not connected so unless you have it somewhere in the box you will need to buy one - and unfortunately buying new PSU might be cheaper then cable alone depending on what PSU model you have (as cables must match the model).

some psu connectors for a gpu have the 8 pin split 6+2, they do that because some gpu's require just a 6 pin, for gpus requiring 8 pin just add the 6+2 together as 1 connector
