Hello. I recently built a computer and everything has been working fine. I tried to install the drivers for my graphics card, and the drivers said that the hardware couldn't be located.
I looked around for a bit, and figured out that my graphics card isn't even appearing in device manager. So I tried to fix this problem. I went into command prompt and told it to show hidden items in device manager, I updated windows, I updated my motherboard drivers, I deactivated my integrated graphics card, so I know that it's running, I looked and the fans were spinning. I looked around for a few hours and nothing has solved my issue. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

My Specs:
Gpu: ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1050
Cpu: Intel g4560
Motherboard: MSI H110M Pro-VD Intel Skylake
Ram: Ballistix Sport 8GB DDR4
Storage: WD blue 1TB

I'm not sure which it is plugged into, its just plugged into the motherboard, and so is my gpu.

If your monitor is plugged into the motherboard, then you are using integrated graphics, NOT your 1050.
Make sure that your GPU is plugged into the proper PCI/E slot on your motherboard, and If your card requires them, any extra PCI/E power connectors are also plugged in. If your GPU doesn't show up in device manager, and it is mounted correctly, then you have a defective GPU. RMA it.

plugged into the motherboard using vga.

It doesn't look like the GPU requires any 6 or 8 pin power connectors, so if it is not recognized it is probably not inserted all the way in the pcie slot, is in the wrong slot, or is defective. I would remove it and re-install it, making sure it is fully seated.

Ahh, now I feel like an idiot. I didn't realize I could plug my hdmi cable into the gpu, this should help, thank you.
