I can't get 60FPS while recording

Hi,

I am trying to record minecraft with 1680x1050 as resolution
Specs:
AMD FX 6300
8GB DDR3
Geforce GT 120

I can't get 60fps with bandicam or OBS. Is my graphics card that bad?
Without recording I get 200+fps

Do you use OBS classic or studio?
What are your OBS settings?
What is your cpu preset, bitrate, is CBR enabled?

Your graphics card is really low end, but the encoding OBS classic does mostly goes over CPU. Studio has more GPU optimization, I think.

You might want to try it with downscaled video. Maybe 1152x720.

Thanx! With a smaller resolution I get a stable 60FPS

When I record I have 100FPS now, but it does not feel like 100FPS.

Check the read/write speed on your HDD, also you should try and record onto a different HDD to the one the game is running on to avoid conflicts.
