Question I can't get into the system setup menu of the av receiver which is connected to pc monitor ?

It is successful to get into the menu if it's connected to a tv, but not when connected to a PC monitor.
What is going on ?

pc hdmi output>onkyo nr696 hdmi output > eizo cg2420 pc monitor. it said please contact with device manufacturer
it is okay to get into receiver setup menu if i switch display device to lg c1 tv
any tech trick to get rid of it?
