I cant get my cheats to work. Can anyone help?

i hit shift+~ and then type in *devmapall* then what? do i continue typing
in the cheat? do i hit enter after finishing typing *devmapall* or do i
have a space after *devmapall* help me Obi-wan Kenobi, your my only
hope...

*okay that sounded really queer. but seriuosly, can someone, anyone please
help me!

Steps:
- Open console by pressing '~' key
- type in 'devmapall' or 'helpusobi 1' (I've read different people having
different success with each on JKII or JA)
- Hit return - you get no feedback, just a new line
- Type the cheat and hit return.

Should be good ...

What Jedi Game are you using?

With JK:JA, it's

helpmeobi 1

Then throw the codes at it. For any other JK game, I can't honestly say
since I haven't played them.

devmapall, and when i hit enter, i get a line that reads *no specific map.

I assume you've checked GameFaqs?

I've never tried the 'devmapall' mode, but had done the 'helpusobi 1' to get
myself the saber and basic force powers from the very beginning to see what
it would be like (after beating it 'normally' 2 or 3 times)

If you have updated your JA to the most recent version, then devmapall
will not work in the single player portion of the game, on in the
multiplayer gamer where you are the host.

"helpusobi 1" is for the single player part of the game. This is the
same for JO.

Hi@all,

the "devmapall" works eaven when you have updated to the last version!
But you have to type in "devmapall [name_of_map]"
The command restarts the level with cheats enabled and you will have to
play the level again. Since the game launches the level as a new server,
all former saves are not valid for it. That means with loading an older
savegame you start the old server with the older settings, without cheats
enabled!
Unfortunately to save the game in "devmapall"-mode doesn't make the trick:
If you load such a savegame ... the cheats are disabled again and you have
not the higher skill or saber setting. Pretty frustrating!
