i cant get my computer to work on a monitor

hello there! i recently built a budget home media pc for my parents so they could watch netflix! i scavaged some parts from a box of computer parts i have!

so i put it together and all the fans worked and all but when i plug it in to a monitor it just sais no cable conected! i used my second monitor as the monitor for my parents computer as a test monitor so i know thats not the problem! please help i dont have anny idea how to fix this!

amd a6 6400k
amd 7570
8 gig corsair vengance 1600mhz
MSI FM2-A55M-E33, Socket-FM2
corsair cx430w psu

Did you try both the video card and the Mobo connector?

If you didn't try the mobo connector, do it, and I bet it will work. If it does work, you'll have to go into the bios and tell it to use the PCIe GPU instead of the integrated one in the APU.
