I cant get my dell dimemsion e520 to except the ram

Hello,I have a Dell Dimension E520 and I have 4gb of ram in it, but everytime I go to install this program I want onto the computer it says it only has 293gb and only 273gb free. I pull up the bios and it shows the 4gb of ram, what have i done wrong, or need to replace.

I think it's talking about free disk space, not the amount of memory you have. You need to free up some disk space by runnig "disk cleanup" and/or removing some old programs that you don't use anymore.

You are running your system in 32bit. The 32bit system will only recognise 3 gig's of ram. Format your hard drive and install windows in 64bit, then it will see all 4 gig's.
