I cant get ram to 1066

hello
i have been trying to get my ram to run at 1066 but all i get is 800 my specs are
Mobo : GA EP43-UD3L rev 1.0 with F9 BIOS "latest"
CPU : intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.50 GHz FSB : 1333 Cashe : 4 MB
RAM : X2 Kingston HyperX 2GB KHX8500AD2/2G, DDR2 1066 (PC2-8500), 240-Pin, Unbuffered, Non-ECC
VGA : ATI HD 5770 1 GB PowerColor

i have tried to set the ram timing as the site said at 7 7 7 20 but all i get is 6 6 6 18

7-7-7-20 is slower than 6-6-6-18. DDR2-800 standard is 5-5-5-15 and good stuff runs at 4-4-4-12. The numbers are times in milliseconds and lower is faster.

7 7 7 20 is the timing from the Kingston PDF

KHX8500AD2/2G ≠ 9905316-173.A00LF ; to VERIFY pull ALL sticks and look at the stickers and post the exact Part-Number.

{So much for my initial Google; I do LOOK at everything} I systematically check and stop once something comes up. I noticed right away that that the KHX8500AD2/2G is not Certified or Tested for this MOBO.

Duh; sorry I'm used to seeing it either way -> Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P.) / / "This item appears only if you install a memory module that supports this feature."

Those features are in M.I.T / Advanced Clock Control hit Enter

im sorry for taking so long to get back on the memory thing 😀

i have tried the settings u gave me and i have been looking around the only way i can get to see 1066 on my bios settings is when i play with my System Memory Multiplyer (SPD)
and the cpu freq
i have a freq of 333 x 7.5
when i do get to 1066 the system gose to a reboot loop :S
