i cant go to my BIOS screen, it asks me to press F1 to access it but everytime i press it the screen stays the same

what are you talking about? you want to get into the BIOS............ continually tap that key on start up. not when the machine is at the desktop............. my machine I need to hit the delete key ( tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap, tap )

thats what i did, but it doesnt take me to the desktop it takes me to another screen which says "Press F1 to access"
