I can't hear anyone only on Skype, but all works fine elsewhere, like Teamspeak and such.

I can hear all the calling and other skype sounds, but not the person I'm talking to (tried with multiple), but they can hear me. In the settings everything looks fine, and I only have one audio and recording device enabled trough the playback devices. I've also tried re-installing Skype.

Make sure the mic you use is not muted, go to your sound settings, then go over to recordings.
Highlight on microphone, right click then choose properties, to the listen tabs.
If that box is not checked, tick it to enable it, tap the microphone and make sure it can hear it with you speaking into it.
If you use google+ use gmail google talk and make a quick phone call to yourself to make it works completely.
Then try skype again.

I know this is a bit late, but the echo doesn't help. I ring it, then hear nothing for a few seconds, and the call ends, and that's about it. (I do hear the ringing) And the skype's troubleshooting is useless, it just says that I need to check if the headset is plugged in.

The mic is fine, it's me who can't hear other people.

What do you mean by that? screenshot of headset audio/properties, or setttings in skype or the headset itself?

Edit: Just tested with a set of speakers and all worked perfectly... It's weird how I can hear all the skype sound effects, but just not the other person talking

The headset is Razer kraken 7.1 , you can google it if needed.

The problem still persists, now I just know that it's something with the headset.
