So i have been having a problem with my PC. I have a ssd installed as my primary spot, (with the os installed on it as well) but whenever i attach a second harddrive, it formats fine, it partitions fine, and for all intents and purposes it looks like its running. But whenever i try to use the second drive for anything, specifically gaming, but even transferring any files to it, it crashes, and disappears from "My PC" entirely until i restart my computer. I have tried 3 harddrives, all work fine on their own, but in my pc they crash, any suggestions?

Welcome to the community, joeyhbass!

I'd recommend you use a different SATA port on your motherboard and a definitely a different SATA cable to connect the secondary HDDs with it instead. If you haven't tried that already, I'd also suggest you try resolving the issue by resetting BIOS. It will get all your BIOS settings back to factory defaults, so make sure you reconfigure them afterwards. (in case you have done any changes)
I'd also recommend you check the SATA controller/chipset drivers for your motherboard from the manufacturer's official website. Make sure you have the drivers installed from there, rather than Windows Updates. In addition, if you have access to another PC, I'd also suggest you try the secondary HDDs...

Keep me posted. :)
