I can't install Synaptics

I can't install Synaptics driver actually i can install it but it doesn't appear on the mouse settings in control panel so I can't scroll with touchpad.

Where did you get the driver from.

Assuming this is on a laptop, it'd be better to get the driver from the laptop manufacturer's website.

Post your specs while you're at it.
