I am building a computer for Christmas and can't pick a darn SSD. There are so many options and I cant pick. I want to get around a 250GB drive and I would like to spend about $100 on it. The other thing is I can't the blue Mx300 that everyone recommends because it doesn't match. I linked the computer and any other recommendations are very welcome. Also, the motherboard does have a M.2 slot as well.

Wouldn't worry about the color matching, the SSD is small and I usually put mine on the backside of the motherboard tray. Here are a few different considerations depending on your budget.

The 850 evo you have selected is pretty much the fastest 250gb SSD on the market. I wouldn't get the m2 version as it's still SATA interface and has throttling issues due to heat it generates. The memory controller in Samsung SSD's are superior, although competitiors are closing the gap now, but I'd stick with the one you currently have selected myself.
