I can't print anything!?

Archived from groups: microsoft.public.windowsxp.print_fax (More info?)

Everytime I try to print something I get an error box that says:

Lexmark X1100 Series: USB001
Communication Not Available
The printer cannot communicate with the computer

Try these solutions
Disconnect and reconnect the USB cable
Disconnect and reconnect the power cable
Restart your computer

I have done all of these things and still cannot print...
Please help!

Try changing the cable. I'm presuming the USB ports are working correctly?
