Hello,
I've noticed that BIOS settings keep getting reset and every time I enter my BIOS I see this "Clear CMOS Information" message which says "BIOS has been reset. Please re-config your BIOS setup items if needed". I've found plenty of suggestions from people with the same problem, advising them to clear the CMOS battery on the motherboard. I followed the instructions and shorted the two CLR CMOS pins for more than 5 seconds and even removed the CMOS battery for a couple of minutes trying to clear the CMOS battery , but none of that helped. The BIOS settings still won't save, as I keep encountering the same messages when entering my BIOS."

I hope some one can help so I can finally enable Re-sizeable Bar and set up my RAM correctly

The motherboard im using is a b550 gaming x v2 rev 1.4

Replace the CMOS battery. Just as, if anything, a matter of elimination.
Do you think using the CMOS from a previous PC of mine will work, or is it a bad idea? Thanks for the quick reply!
(Just Done it and it didn't worked same issue) 🙁

I managed to get it to work! The CMOS wasn't the issue. I believe I kept selecting the wrong frequency for my RAM in the BIOS, which caused the PC to fail to boot and reset all the BIOS settings so it could power on again.

I'm not entirely sure what I did wrong with configuring the RAM, but leaving it out seems to resolve the issue.
