I cant see my new SSD

I have looked for my new SSD and i cant find it in "This PC", i have looked around on the internet for solutions to this problem. However none have worked. I am not able to see the drive in disk management, but i am able to see it in my bios and in CMD.
I am using a SanDisk SSD plus 480GB if this helps at all (specific issues etc.)
Any ideas?

The drive is a Sandisk SSD plus 480GB, The motherboard i am using is the gigabyte AB350M-Gaming 3, and i have one WD blue 1tb hard drive

That is what i was thinking but i was able to see the drive in the bios so surely it must work right?

Not necessarily. The basic interface may be OK, but the actual drive functionality might be hosed.
